Angelika + Jakov

Some couples have longer journeys to the alter than other. It’s easy to say that Angelika and Jakov are one of the couples that had to wait. It was years of wild life events that lead them to each other, then apart, then back together again.

Through illness, circumstance, pandemics and many, many more hurdles, Angelika and Jakov stuck it out.

Their wedding was our first where we faced the challenge of filming an orthodox ceremony. We tackled the challenge head on and had a blast capturing it. The church was an incredible sight to behold. The walls were covered in art work with such intricacies. We couldn’t imagine a better place to start their lives together.

The reception continued with the traditions. With family members helping to provide home cooked food from each of their cultures, the food was something to behold.

The night was spent listening to new hits and to traditional songs. We had so much fun and enjoyed every second we spent filming Angelika and Jakov’s celebration.
